Service Description: 24/7 Data Centre Monitoring
Service Activity: Management of Remote Monitoring Suite in Germany.

Our client had announced that they would be centralising and consolidating their Remote Monitoring Centres over a 12 month period. This meant the planned closure of a particular site where we already supplied experienced contingent workers through our Operators on Demand service. The announcement led to unease within the permanent members of the clients own team and the client was soon faced with staff leaving for new jobs.

Ari tool on the role of managing the environment on an interim basis to ensure the clients customer base did not suffer during the transition. We trained and retained a team of contractors who, together with our own staff, supplemented the client team as that team reduced in size. The pace and flexibility at which we could bring on new people was paramount to providing our customer with the service they required.

On successful closure of the site, two of our most experienced people spent a further six months at the two new client sites, training the incoming staff.
